"Possible that washer is just not up to the challenge of washing comforters. I did level the machine and it tested ok in full speed spin with some sheets in it. There is a service bulletin out for this model that recommends replacing the suspension rods with an updated part. Also took a quick look at the dryer while there. Found only 204V at the dryer plug. Should be at least 220V."
