Possible there are other issues that caused this, but can't test spin without these parts first. Very tight location, and water was dripping from the fill hose once pulled out. Doesn't look like they were leaking until moved, as there was no water behind the unit. Left water off to both hoses in the meantime. Since the unit won't run, this water may leak—too risky. Water tank frozen. Damper at meat drawer was open; closed this, but temperatures are still too cold for the thermostat being set to 3. 9 is coldest. Drain needs to be cleared and possibly replaced. Owner ordered thermostat. OEM are NLA. Part number: WR9X499. Scheduling for Monday. Scheduled next appointment for 1/20.

Tub out of round; will not spin full speed; shuts down even during diagnostics and tries to restart even with an empty tub. Stored codes are irrelevant for door open and buttons held down. Unit will probably be useless without an entire tub and bearing assembly replacement. This unit is 14 years old and is the oldest Samsung washer observed.
